The international trekking menu is remarkably similar wherever you go. A variety of teas, our favorites are mint and ginger, then various kinds of eggs, I prefer 2 hard boiled eggs, Dahl baht, the only Nepalese dish on the menu, which I have at least once a day, it is rice, a bowl of Dahl, and curried vegetables. Then there is a list of soups, my favorite is garlic, they are made with mostly fresh vegetables. They always have pizza and similar American foods. I have rice pudding at least once a day, which is very hot soupy rice with a little milk, not sweet. Today they are going to make us Sherpa potato pancakes, which usually they only make for locals or Sherpas. And there are many dishes with potatoes.
