London paintings

The Bruegels were so small, like little jewels, any piece of the painting could be a painting, the serene teaching from the boat and the disaster at sea

the mandala of the ancient cephlapod

This was not even a painting, it was a repainting of an ancient roman design
Pre-Raphaelite landscape, the artist put himself in there somewhere
Pre-Raphaelite fragment, and a tapestry, something to the effect of love leading the pilgrim through the forest

The Titian Bacchus and Ariadne, some kind of sad story, apparently Ariadne had been abandoned by Theseus on an island when Bacchus showed up on his chariot pulled by cheetahs, along with his entourage of rather scary characters...
the Turners, two of the Turners
