This is the Thanka painting workshop at Norbulingka. We practiced drawing the sacred proportions, emulating the exact representations of Buddhist deities, a two dimensional representation of a multidimensional spiritual reality, an Thanka painting is like a roadmap to guide them to the original insight of the master. Our master is Youten Sorjee.
